Professionally, I am presently a Front-End Web Developer at ProWorks Corporation in Corvallis, Oregon, although I wear other hats by the names of “Interactive Designer” and “Graphic / Web Designer”. We are a small .NET web development firm that excels in analytics, search engine optimization, and reporting software. I started there in 2006 as a Graphic Design intern making sure their website and printed materials look great. I quickly began expanding my toolbox to the realm of interactive Flash graphics, HTML and CSS coding, and website content management systems (CMS) such as Sitecore. We immerse ourselves completely in every project and I now have a great understanding of how to build a website from the ground up and have it look great and be easily navigated.
I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Oregon State University 2006
Personally I need to have a million creative outlets because I’m curious of just about everything and I HAVE to either try it or figure out how it works. I always need a problem to work on (like how do I get the stupid email feed to work on my blog), and feel great accomplishment when I figure stuff out. I have an interest in Art History, creating music, Cosmology, mountain biking, Fine Arts, and indoor soccer.
