This illustration is a practice in the subtleties of a woman's face. The challenges were in getting the skin tones correct, and in blending the colors. Getting the detail in the eyes they way I wanted it took the most time.

A beautiful eastern themed wedding save-the-date card that was a total hit at my friends' wedding. They like the idea of the lotus flower and loved the end result even more.

Jurassic Moon

This spacescape depicts the Earth and Moon in the Early Jurassic phase, where the Moon was much closer to the Earth. The Moon is wracked with volcanic activity and glows red with lava-filled basins. The work was created for lunarorigin.com
